Is this you?
• You're skilled at coping, but rarely feel at ease.
• Relationships are harder than they should be.
• You want to understand yourself—not just manage symptoms.
• You're navigating change.
• You sense life could feel more meaningful.
You are in the right space. Life can be better than this, and together we will work to understand what is getting in the way and move you towards your goals.
Hi, I'm Austin
Before becoming a psychotherapist I spent many years in law and investment banking. Those experiences taught me about responsibility, success and the pressures people often carry quietly.
Today I work with thoughtful adults who want more from life. Some arrive feeling anxious or stuck. Others are navigating change, relationship challenges or questions about meaning and purpose. Whatever brings you here, we'll work together to understand what's getting in the way and help you move toward the life you want.
My approach is warm, curious and collaborative. I'll offer honesty with kindness, and when it’s helpful I’ll gently challenge you too. I believe hope—and even humour—have an important place in therapy.
I live in Brooklyn with my husband, our two kids and a mildly anxious dog, whose interest in therapy is limited to eating her feelings. I work with clients both in person, in mid-town Manhattan, and remotely.

Different people arrive for different reasons.
We all start therapy with unique personal challenges. The common thread amongst the clients I work with is a desire for life to feel better than it does today.

Your heart is the size of an ocean.
Go find yourself in its hidden depths.
